Refunds are only possible in case of cancellation of a fireworks display or storm warning and are then based on the time of the event and the possibly already used rental duration.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n4 AUTHORIZATION TO OPERATE THE RENTAL OBJECT<\/b>
Only the person who has signed the rental contract is authorized to maneuver the boat. The renter is fully liable for any traffic violations, etc. If the rental object is not anchored, the renter must always be ready to maneuver. The renter must be of legal age. Children and adolescents are under the responsibility of their parents\/guardians.<\/p>\n

5 RENTAL BOAT<\/b>
The rental boat is provided in a ready-to-use condition. The renter\/driver commits to taking care of the rental object.<\/p>\n

6 DUTIES IN CASE OF ACCIDENT<\/b>
The renter is responsible for immediately notifying the landlord and the water police, as well as for making an accident sketch and for recording the names and addresses of the persons involved in the accident and witnesses. Oral or written promises to third parties regarding services to injured parties should be avoided and are irrelevant for the lessor.<\/p>\n

7 LIABILITY-FULL INSURANCE<\/b>
In the event of damage, the renter has to pay a minimum of CHF 500.- as deductible and compensation. The renter\/driver remains personally liable for all damages not covered by liability and comprehensive insurance. The landlord declines any responsibility and consequential costs in case of personal injury. The users and guests of the rental boats are responsible for their own accident\/personal protection insurance.<\/p>\n

8 DAMAGE TO THE RENTAL BOAT<\/b>
The renter\/driver is liable for any damage with a contribution of at least CHF 500.\u2013 (deposit) as compensation and deductible. In case of gross negligence, not covered by insurance, the renter is fully liable for the entire damage.<\/p>\n

9 REPAIRS<\/b>
The renter is obligated to inspect the rental object before the start of the rental period. If there is no objection, it will be assumed that the rental object is in good condition at the time of handover. The renter is liable for any damages occurring during the rental period, as described in points 6 and 7. Necessary repairs must generally be carried out by a workshop designated by the lessor. Repairs or modifications to the rental object may not be made without the lessor’s consent. During the duration of a repair, the renter shall pay the lessor a daily compensation equivalent to the evening rental rate for the operational downtime.<\/p>\n

10 LESSOR LIABILITY<\/b>
The rental company is not liable for any damages that may occur to the renter due to a defect in the rental object that prevents further travel, causes time loss, or other consequential damages.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
11 FULFILLMENT OF CONTRACT<\/b>
In the event that the rental object cannot be made ready to drive between the conclusion of the contract and the start of the rental period, the rental company has the right to withdraw from the contract without any compensation.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
12 LOSS OF PROPERTY<\/b>
In the event of loss of the rental company’s property (keys, rain scoop, etc.), a compensation of 200.\u2013 will be charged. The rental company is not liable for property left behind by the renter.<\/p>\n

13 SUPPLEMENTARY PROVISIONS<\/b>
In addition to these provisions, the Swiss Code of Obligations applies.<\/p>\n

14 JURISDICTION<\/b>
For any disputes arising from this contract, Zurich is agreed as the exclusive jurisdiction.<\/p>\n
